About Step It Up

Hello, my name is Heather Harrison. After 31 years in public education (20 yrs. teaching 6th grade Math and Language Arts, 11 yrs. teaching 5th and 6th grade Physical Education, and many years of coaching basketball and running), I decided it was time to try something new, and that is when Step It Up Tutoring & More was born. After visiting with several parents and members of the community, I felt there was a need and an opportunity for me to teach Physical Education to nontraditional/homeschool students. I will also be offering private tutoring for 4
th – 6th grade students in Math, Reading, and Language Arts. During the school year, when school is not in session (teacher in-service, parent teacher
conferences, and other non-school days) I will be providing Day Camps for your children (full day or half day options will be available). Finally, I will have a Traveling Field Day available for corporate teambuilding, family reunions, neighborhood block and birthday parties.
